If I hadn’t gone home this weekend, I would have forgotten what it looks like when it snows. Until this morning.
It’s funny how crazy people get when it finally starts to snow significantly; traffic slows down, people who used to walk like they were on a mission now walk with caution and awareness. If it absolutely has to be winter (is Winter capitalized? Like Saturday or Dr. Wilson?) and if it has to be cold, snow is a necessity. Although I do appreciate the snow [debatable], my winter boots (adorable and completely impractical) do not as they decided they didn’t feel like walking on my slippery fire escape and decided to take me down with them. 5 stairs down. Not like I live on a main street or anything for people/students/cars/streetcars to see me… :S
you would figure…that living in a climate where snow is normal this time of year - People wouldn’t be this affected by it. And yet…here we are driving 40Km/h under the speed limit afraid of Tokyo drifting our car into a snowbank…
P.S. Adorable dog, I want to go run around in the snow with it!
